Hall Hill Farm

Today we went to Hall Hill Farm.

We held the chicks. They were very lively.

This Mummy pig had 2 piglets in her tummy. Can you see her lying down at the back?

We fed the lamb. He was very hungry!

Can you remember what sound the turkey made?

We had a bumpy ride on the tractor.

We fed so many animals at the farm. Can you remember what they were called?

We held rabbits and guinea pigs. The rabbits seemed to get bigger and bigger.

We tried to milk a cow. Thank goodness it wasn’t a real one!

Miss Butler had so much fun on the slide.

We have had such a fantastic day at the farm!

We are so proud to announce that our Nursery School has won the South Tyneside Greenest Award. We are so happy as the children, parents and staff have worked so hard to ensure that our school is simply amazing. Thank you to everyone who has helped us along the way.

Family Gardening Day

Just look at the fun we had as we spruced up the pots, looked for bugs, made new scarecrows and got rid of the weeds.

Our pots look blooming beautiful.

We planted seeds in tiny pots. When they are big enough we will plant them in the allotment.

Some children planted beans…hope we don’t get any beanstalks or giants in our nursery garden!

We are ready for our grand entrance.

Poor Mary had no place to sleep so a kind Inn Keeper said they could stay in the stable.

The shepherds came to see the new born baby.

The Kings brought special presents for the baby. They travelled on a camel.

Everybody was very happy!

Sharing Week

We love to show our friends what we have been up to.

We will be sending our Learning Journals home regularly for your child to share with you. Please feel welcome to add photos or any information about your child’s interests or achievements. We update journals regularly, so it is important that they are returned to Nursery promptly. At the end of your child’s time in Nursery, they will be yours to keep, but meanwhile they are a vital assessment tool for our staff so they are as precious to us as they are to you! We hope you enjoy sharing them as much as your child does.
